# GRAVITY Admin Site: Custom font configuration
Configuring the correct fonts is crucial for maintaining the visual and operational integrity of the target application on the GRAVITY platform. Ensuring accurate font settings enhances user experience while the default fallback to Arial serves as a safeguard against potential configuration errors.
## Font usage policy
Under the font usage policy for GRAVITY, it is mandated that **only the fonts used by the target application can be employed across the platform**. This ensures a seamless user interface experience and maintains brand consistency.
## Steps to Configure fonts in GRAVITY
### Step 1: Detecting the font used by the target application
#### Identify application fonts
Before setting up fonts in the GRAVITY Admin site, identify the fonts used within the target application. Check the application's style guide or CSS files to find the font details.

- Log in to the GRAVITY Admin site
- Navigate to `Sites > Select the Site you want to edit > Color Sheme Tab > 'Custom Font' field`
- Add New Fonts in the correct name, according to [[#Identify application fonts]]
2. **Save Configuration**
- After writing down the fonts, ensure to save the configurations by clicking the `Save` button at the end of the site.
### Step 3: Validation
After configuring the fonts, preview the settings to ensure the correct fonts are applied. Cross-check this within the target application.
## Error handling and default fallback
If an incorrectly configured font name or an unrecognized font name is saved, the GRAVITY platform automatically reverts to using Arial as the default font. This behavior prevents any disruptions in the content display and maintains readability.
