# Auto-Open Callouts in the Information Dock When it comes to digital interfaces, grabbing user attention effectively is key to ensuring important information doesn't go unnoticed. An automated Callout that pops up in the [[Information Dock]] can serve as an essential tool for highlighting notifications, tips, and updates. Below, we outline the process to configure a Callout that will automatically open, capturing the interest of your users from the get-go. ## Step-by-Step Configuration Guide Auto-opening Callouts can significantly improve user engagement by delivering urgent information directly without waiting for user initiation. Start by creating a [[Single Callout]] (see [[How to create a Callout]]) ### Step 2: Define Callout appearance and behavior Once you’ve drafted the title and the body of your Callout, you will need to define the location and the behavior of the Callout in the Callout appearance: 1. Navigate to the Callout appearance 2. [[Callout Behavior]]. 3. [[Callout Behavior#1. Action when the Callout is "new"]]: Activate GRAVITY & open automatically (Figure 1-1). 4. OPTIONAL: in [[Callout Behavior#Appearance count]] specify the number of times the Callout should appear for each employee (Figure 1-2). 5. [[Callout Behavior#4. Action when the Callout is "read"]]: Reappears on the page (Figure 1-3). ### Step 3: Activate "Show only in 'Information Dock'" in "Hotspot placement"   To restrict the Callout’s display area to the Information Dock:  1.
